Waking up this morning, I am so grateful for my health and for the family that I get to share this life with. I feel that sometimes life gets busy and we forget to take a small amount of time and to just be thankful and grateful for what we do have instead of focusing on what we don’t have/what we haven’t accomplished yet. We are taught to be such future thinking beings that we forget to live in the present. As of this moment my two dogs are playing tug of war with their rope and it warms my heart to see them playing.
Last year around this time we almost lost Copper, our 5 year old Australian Shepard/Blue Heeler mix. I am so grateful to say he is doing well, with lots of energy and full of life. Are they making a slight mess? Yes, for sure. But it is absolutely worth it to have them both in my life. I am also so grateful for my husband for being the best friend that I have always wanted as well as the best partner anyone could ask for. I am grateful for my sister, my sister and brother in law and all of our parents. They are all some of the greatest people I have ever known and they have always been so supportive in our lives.
I am also so grateful for our chickens and the amazing eggs that they provide, not just for us, but for our friends as well. I am so happy and thankful for the knowledge that I have acquired over the past years on how to garden, bake, sew, etc. It has been life changing and I will be forever grateful for everything that I have been blessed with.
Finally, I am thankful for the ability to be able to write these blogs. I love writing and sharing ideas and stories with you.
I challenge you today to start your day off by writing down the smallest and simplest things that you are grateful for. Take the time today to be grateful and tell your loved ones that you care. ♥
Cheers!
